DESCRIPTION OF FUNDS
Friends of Girl Scouting
Donations to our Annual Fund are unrestricted and are used where they are most needed.
Donations to the Campership Fund provide financial assistance for girls to attend Girl Scout summer camp. In most cases, GSSNE provides 50% of the cost of attendance.
Camp Maintenance Fund
By supporting our Camp Maintenance Fund, you will help GSSNE continue to provide safe and well cared for properties for Girl Scouts to enjoy enriching outdoor experiences. While the upkeep of our five camp properties is one of our most costly expenses, the opportunity to continue sharing the outdoors with girls today, and in the future, is key.
The Newhall Fund & Community Outreach and Extended Learning Programs
Donations to these two funds provide program support, curriculum development and financial assistance to girls who can use it most - those in under-served communities in RI and MA who cannot afford the basic costs of participating in Girl Scouting.
Endowment Funds for Camp Hoffman & Camp Rocky Farm
Donations to either of these endowment funds will ensure that Camp Hoffman and Camp Rocky Farm will be here for girls in our council to enjoy for generations to come.
Families of girls make contributions to the Family Partnership campaign which are used to create and provide training, publications and council-wide events for girls and their leaders.
